From angelic host preparing for the big night
to honking geese flying south;
from a grandmother singing as she puts sprinkles on sugar cookies,
to a newborn gurgling in joy at the lights on the tree:
all creation is praising God!
From kittens sleeping in the winter sun
to lions and tigers growling at the Festival of Lights;
from rivers groaning as ice forms on their skin,
to pine trees cracking in the frozen dawn:
all creation is praising God!
From the singing stars in distant galaxies,
to carolers huddling around wind-whipped candles;
from wooly-woolies crawling in silence
to the powerless crying for hope:
all creation is praising God!
